I think your biggest problem is going to be *sending* a signal from the iPod, not receiving it.... Unless you're willing to go with an FM transmitter, which I'm assuming you're not, right?

Apple isn't a charity. They only have profits because they don't lower the prices.

I never thought I'd ever hear this many people justifying a premium on a product. Apple has so much money right now they can pretty much do anything. If you think this is such a noble goal then when you buy your next apple product pay another hundred dollars to help their profit margins. Or so they can build better products.
And don't go looking for discounts or coupons, those hurt profit margins. Lets just raise prices.
this is directed at this whole idea of paying more and not just at the quoted post.
So many people start buying apple after their first product, if they lower the price so that more do this then in the end they may end up with more business.

Apple needs to cut the prices on ipod nano. 149 dollars for 8GB ipod nano is ridiculous. Everyone is gonna go for ipod touch or iPhone.
With that being said, I am a little bit surprised about ipad sales. But, it will continue to do well. Momentum doesn't stop.

Awesome! Streaming live news should be the future. AT&T need not worry because nobody is going to sit there and watch it all day long. People will only check it out every once in a while. Excellent feature. I just hope NPR's servers are ready to handle the traffic if there is a major, major breaking news event and everyone rushes to view the live stream at the same time.
I still hope Apple adds and AM/FM radio to the next iPhone, so we can also listen to breaking news on the radio if the streaming does not work.

I had been using my MBP all morning with no problems. I shut the screen and let it go into sleep mode for about an hour before I went back to get on it. At first I thought it just wasn't waking up from sleep mode, because the screen just stayed black but the fans booted up and I could hear it running. So, I shut the lid again, opened, and nothing.
Tried rebooting. The screen stays black the entire time, and I hear the faint sound of the start up sound. When I close the screen, the light at the front doesn't do the "breathing" that it does when in sleep mode. It just stays lit.
Does this sound like a display problem, or some other issue? Any ideas/suggestions?

generally i found the copy to be pretty good. it was punchy and there were some good analogies.
The video got the point across but was unrefined and generally needed to be tightened and focused. For example i would have stopped at the roommate eating the cereal because i get it and everything after becomes redundant. I think you're succeeding from a Communications perspective but the Filmmaking chops need to be developed.
I thought pocket change was the best shot (lower thirds could be a smaller font with a background transparency for readability).

If Bluetooth is set to listen during sleep on a laptop, for example, thieves can use Bluetooth phones and other devices to detect nice laptops/phones to steal from car parks and the like. Also leaving it on and 'discoverable' could make your private data vulnerable.
