'Australian Customs has foiled a Melbourne man's attempt to strap smuggle two live pigeons to his legs and smuggle them from Dubai.
Customs officers took the 23-year-old aside while examining his luggage at Melbourne Airport on Sunday and found he was wearing tights with a live pigeon concealed in each leg.
He was also carrying two bird eggs, plant seeds and had several undeclared eggplants in his luggage.'
