I have to disagree with this comment, its not the Iphone man is USA's Networks. over here in england i have had no dropped calls (not a single one) beit the Iphone 3GS, 3G or 4 not a single dropped call and i am sure the majority of Iphone users here would state this.
Clearly not otherwise the rest of the world would also be having dropped calls. We don't get any noticeable dropped calls from the i4 over here.
Living outside of the US it's funny as the dropped call thing always seems to affect American users the most yet people leap to the conclusion it is a problem with the phone. I have owned the original iPhone, 3G and iPhone 4 in the family and no issues here in the UK with dropped calls on any of the phones.
Obviously had a few dropped calls over the years but it is not that frequent. I did notice that the iPhone had worse reception in very low signal areas (all Models) compared to my Dad's old Nokia which has a small external transmitter but then again that Nokia beats every smart phone I have ever seen for reception.
Although I don't think any device with an internal antenna is going to out perform one with an external antenna but taking the rest of the world into account AT&T are definitely a factor in the dropped calls as they seem to be way more frequent in the USA on AT&T than other service providers around the world.
I agree with these. I've not had any problems with dropped calls in Northern Ireland either.

I was in 2nd period (Eng :( ) in 6th grade. I don't think any of us really realized the scope of what happened at the time. Pretty soon, administrators came around and told us to turn off the TVs and go back to work. I'll always remember that we had a substitute teacher that day with elephants on his tie. He nicknamed me and 2 of my friends Curly, Moe, and Larry.
I can't believe it's been 4 years already... :(

I think if you still have a 3GS, you should bump to an iPhone 4. If you have an iPhone 4 I would stick with it til ver 6. I agree with what this report is saying. The faster processor and camera will most likely make it's way to the phone, but Apple will likely stop there and wait for a screen size improvement for a later version. Apple is not known for just upgrading all of a device's components at once. They tinker with a couple things and slap a new version number. It's what happened with the iPad2. Many expected a higher res screen, but that would have been too many component upgrades.
That's what I just did. The screen alone is worth the upgrade. I no longer feel bad about not necessarily getting the 5 and skipping that version and getting the 6 next year.

Edit: oops, wrong thread.
But since I posted inadvertently, I might as well mention I pre-ordered a family pack. So probably I'll have it before you, even if you're first in line :p

An iPhone update wasn't needed. It was a website change.

Was there ever mentioning if it was c0mex's userland exploit that was patched in 4.3.1 or was it some other exploit on the kernel side that was patched. Cause technically if it was an kernel exploit he can use i0n1c's to jailbreak up to 4.3.2.

Keep in mind that Apple probably realizes that the current 'music' iPod can't evolve into a 'video' iPod without giving up so much that we love with it now. They realize that if they are going to make a true video iPod the ergonomics will have to change.
That makes a lot of sense to me! This would be a new type of iPod while still retaining the current iPod models, much like when the Mini came out. They design one device for music and another for movies. Both can do both things, but each one is designed to do one or the other best.
I want a large capacity (100GB+) audio iPod. No movies, no photos, no games. A black and white screen and a long battery life.
I hope they do keep moving forward with "audio" iPods. That said, I do like the color screen. Biggest reason: album covers!

I'm interested in hearing about other people's experiences in getting a tattoo removed. Please dispense with the usual "I would never get a tattoo", "tattoos are dumb", etc, etc, ad naseum. If you want to express your opinion on tattoos, start another thread. I only want to hear tattoo removal stories.
I'm currently getting one removed (YAG laser). Due to a number of coverups and the size of the damn thing, I've been getting treatments for quite a while now. We're talking many years and lots of moolah. So I'm particularly wondering how long it took (or is taking) for other people to get their tattoos removed, and where they got (or are getting) it done.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

The cell companies lobbied HARD to not allow you to keep your number when you switch. The state legislature here (Calif) buckled 3 times.
You can thank "the government" for allowing you to keep your number when you switch. You can also thank "the government" for demanding that the companies improve their 911 protocols. People were sometimes
waiting 20 minutes to get connected. Also, blame "the government"
for requiring that the companies allow you a grace period to return your phone. They actually had to create a bill called "the cell phone bill of rights"
These actions did not create a huge costly layer of bureaucracy. Why do people think that corporations should be allowed to abuse people unhindered? After-all the market was/is not providing that many real choices. It's a cartel.
Bye the way, "the government" (in theory) is you.
We are lucky that sometimes government works for us. The state government here bowed to the mobile phone companies when municipalities wanted to enact laws banning using a phone while driving. They banned anyone but the state being able to create any laws concerning mobile phones.
Of course, I wouldn't want the government to have their own company--that would be haphazard and bizarre, though I don't think anyone would buy service from them, suspecting wire(less) tapping on all of their phones.

Does anyone know if such instructions exist for the Time Warner TV app?
You can try it and see. In theory it should work.

Why doesn't the government just take it right off of the top? For every dollar you earn the government gets a percentage and you keep the rest. Do that for everyone and we would not need to file income taxes. The government would always know how much you earn on a constant basis.
This idea seems like it would be a lot more complex than it is now.
Who would be responsible for getting the money to the government? The "employers" or the "earners"? For instance on ebay, would ebay inc. take a % of the sellers income and be responsible for turning it in?

I, too, had a Western Digital drive that suffered from premature ejection. Never had a problem with internal, only USB. Return before something is lost ;)

on the previous post, you can see that I can NO LONGER see the previews of the files. Also the last image is what the .TIFFs looked like when I would go through them in A3, but in the 2nd image I posted, that is what the TIFFs look like, and I am assuming they are importing as a Jpeg+RAW, although I haven't changed any settings, nor did I in A3 on my previous MBP.
The 3rd image is of what it looks like in Preview, and 4th image is of how preview automatically resizes it.
the images posted in this post is what A3 is doing to the TIFF files and how Preview used to open the TIFF files. To get this TIFF to open up "correctly" in Preview, I had to open in ACR and then save as a TIFF. The files size increases from 8-12MB to 33MB, which eats up space quickly.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!
BTW, DPP (Canons' software) opens these fine.

An alternative would be for your designer to lay the coupons out in InDesign with text and picture boxes that you can edit/change/update and then save to PDF. It still means having to by the software but you will probably find it more straight forward to use for your needs.
It could also be done with Word say, having inserted an image of the coupon template as a picture and then editing from there and you can save to PDF from Word if you have a newer version. But this isn't going to give professional results!
Hope that helps.:)

I have a 2006 mini I use as an HTPC, the fan is louder than I'd like it to be but it's running at a normal RPM so there's not much I can do about it. My sister has a 2010 mini and I noticed it's much quieter than mine, nearly silent. So I was wondering if anyone knows if the fan model used in the 2010 would work in a 2006?
